Strengthening communication and information technology systems through strategic collaboration

Engaging closely with individuals with disability, their families, caregivers, and the broader disability community is crucial for optimising NDIS Communication and Information equipment.

Engagement with the Disability Community

Good-Will.au actively engages with the disability community through various methods. The team's objectives include: -

  • Gaining insights from diverse perspectives.

  • Collaborating to address challenges and develop effective Assistive Technology (AT) solutions.

  • Achieving mutually agreed-upon outcomes.

 

The Co-Design Process

Good-Will.au collaborates with stakeholders to: -

  • Identify and clarify the issues we seek to resolve, Are we posing the right questions? Do we fully understand the challenges by users of Communication and Information equipment?

  • Develop potential Assistive Technology solutions in partnership with those impacted by our decisions.

  • Prioritise our initiatives based on potential impact.

  • Test and validate co-design ideas to ensure the NDIS Communication and Information equipment ia  effective and meet our goals.

  • Implement the successful solutions.
